The PEC 4-H Draw took place at the Awards Night on Friday, November 20th, 09

Congratulations to the following winners:

Family Farm Fun Night

Location:  19 Pleasant Bay Rd – Hiller – Bakkers Farm – just off Highway 33.
Time:  6PM
Date:  July 30th.

The dinner will be a beef and ham buffet with cake & ice cream for dessert. 

Dinner tickets are available Adults           - $12.50
Children 6 – 12 - $7.00
Under 5 –   Eat Free
To reserve ticket in advance, please contact the County Farm Centre or the Picton Farm Supply.

Other highlights for this evening will be the 4-H Dairy Club calf show, the Junior Farmer Olympics and a loonie raffle with lots of prizes.

It seems early to be talking about this already, but we need your help with Awards Night.  Awards Night this year will be held on November 20, 2009 at Pinecrest Memorial School. In order to have sufficient time to select our top Award winners from our county, we have moved the nomination deadline up to AUGUST 1ST, 2009.   I have included the Awards Nomination form below and this is where we need your help.  
If you could please start thinking about a worthy top 1st or 2nd year member or senior member to nominate, and then submit their information to Barb Insley by August 1st, it would make preparing for Awards night, much easier.  ANYONE can nominate a member, parents, other members and volunteers.  
The criteria for nominating a member is included on the form.  If you require additional information about a member, please contact me for their 4-H information or their parents or even talk to their leader.  
We hope to have lots of nominations this year for each category, so please be sure to send your nomination in early!!
